The world's first all-black Christmas dinner
It’s a meal that wouldn’t look out of place in a Tim Burton film – an all-black Christmas dinner, where everything from the carrots to the roast beef is coal-coloured.
On the macabre-looking menu is black Devon rare roast beef, served with black heritage potatoes and a black beef dripping gravy.
Traditional orange carrots have been replaced with lesser-known black heritage carrots, while the standard sage and onion stuffing has been substituted with black pudding and a charcoal bread stuffing.

Incredibly, the Gothic twist on traditional festive fare is made using all-natural ingredients.
The world’s first all-black Christmas dinner is the brainchild of black spiced rum brand Kraken, who will be serving it up along with ebony cocktails at a special event in London this December.
The dark cocktails have been made using ingredients including activated charcoal, squid ink, and toasted black sesame seeds.
A number of black cocktails have also been creating using black spiced rum and charcoal, with cranberry sauce adding some festive flavour
A festive flavour is achieved with some of the drinks containing cranberry sauce and orange liqueur.
The traditional mulled cider has also been given a dark make-over with the addition of charcoal.
The Kraken Black Christmas event will be held at the Beagle, in Hackney, London, from 5 to 7 December.
