How To Do Seo For Content

A lot of high ranking websites have outstanding articles posted around the internet as well as on their site. It’s part of that wonderful promotion circle. Articles lead to more traffic. More traffic leads to better placement in search engines and so it goes.

SEO news I have had some of them write to me criticizing my ‘crap’ HTML and also my ‘useless’ linking strategies. My site has ‘only a Page Rank of 3’. So what? It is sitting at between #1 on #5 on Google from day to day, at # 1 to #4 on Yahoo from day to day and at #1 on MSN. I will gladly accept their criticism of my HTML and linking when they achieve the same. Till then, perhaps they would be better buying my book that complaining about my websites!

The second point is that the title of your site need not be stated on every web page. My web page titles are those of the page, not the site. The graphics are the same, but the title is the keyword that they page is optimized for. Why do otherwise? Yet 99.99% do (just a guess!). Then fourth of my SEO tips is related to the headings on each page. The main title of the page should be in H1 tags, and the heading in H2 tags. You don’t need any more, but any subheadings can go into H3 tags, but should contain text that could be construed as minor keywords.

The book instructions are simple, to the point, and user friendly. You don’t need a degree in internet savvy to read it. Use this secret weapon to climb to the top of the Google ranks. Know what works, use the most efficient SEO techniques, be there before the competition. Know what SEO software to use, how to use it, and were to look. Dan’s SEO book will be the best investment your Phoenix business has ever made. Actually, the only thing you are investing is the time it takes to read the book. Because the book is free!

Important note: If you choose multiple keywords, make sure your keywords do not belong to different niches. They should belong to the same niche. Otherwise, search engines would be confused what your website is all about. Makes sense right?

Many SEO strategies have been developed nowadays, but there is one all professionals seem to agree on: using a key word. It is important to know what word or word phrase someone might type in the search engine. Sometimes a single word is not enough, while too many might be too much. Furthermore many SEO specialists make the mistake of using it too many times, the text becoming too stuffed. A successful optimization doesn’t mean only selecting the right keyword or keywords. Where it is placed and used is also extremely important. So it is not the quantity that is relevant here, but the quality of the key words or phrases and how they are used.

Like I said there are much geekier aspects of on-page optimization which includes things like which type of site structures to use, frames, types of scripts etc. However, with the advancement of template driven and WYSIWYG* sites, many of these aspects are already pre-coded for optimization or ease of readability for those Search Engines out there doing their creeping and crawling thing…also known as indexing.
